About this policy

This policy describes how 30 Day Content Calendar (30DayCal, “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use 30daycal.com, its web application, and the scripts it shares with the Megaphone iPhone app. Contact us at rodney@30daycal.com about this policy or your information.

Information you provide

If you join the beta waitlist, we process your email address to send beta updates and your invitation. You can unsubscribe using the link in those emails.

We process your email address, account identifier, sign-in information, and any profile information supplied by your sign-in provider. Firebase Authentication handles sign-in, including email/password and Google sign-in.

We also process the information you use to plan and create content: topics, prompts, business and audience details you include, voice profiles, generated and edited scripts, calendar days, preparation checklists, and recording or publishing status. Support requests include whatever information you choose to send us.

We also process: social handles you give us and the public profile details we look up for them (name, photo, follower count); posts, views, likes, comments and follower counts that Zernio returns for the social accounts you connect, refreshed daily; your Zernio connection details, including an API key if you add one, stored on our servers; idea notes; chat threads with Cal; transcripts of videos you add; the answers you give in onboarding or a script preview; and your trial and subscription status. RevenueCat manages subscriptions and receives your account identifier, checkout email, and purchase status. Stripe handles card details; we never see full card numbers.

If you tick the trial email box, SendFox sends up to three emails after your trial ends. Untick it or unsubscribe at any time.

How your content is processed

Script generation sends your brief and selected voice information to the shared Megaphone/Gen.C backend at gencapp.pro, which uses AI services to produce output. Saved scripts and voice profiles are associated with your account and can be available across connected services and devices using that account. A pairing code signs the Megaphone iPhone app in to that account.

You record in Megaphone, and Megaphone’s own privacy policy also applies there. Recordings stay on your iPhone unless a feature needs them online. Studio Voice (on by default; you can turn it off for a take) sends a take’s audio for cleanup. Caption and timing tools may send audio for processing. Posting uploads the finished video to Zernio and the platforms you choose. Camera, microphone, speech, and photo access depend on the permissions you grant on your device.

Browser storage and technical information

We use browser storage to keep you signed in and retain unfinished, account-scoped drafts on that browser. Clearing site data can remove unsaved drafts and sign you out. Saving a script sends it to your account; clearing browser storage does not delete saved server records.

Hosting, authentication, and backend providers may process IP addresses, browser and device details, request times, and diagnostic or security logs to deliver and protect the service. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the request information needed to deliver them. The current web application does not include advertising trackers or a session-replay tool.

Text messages

Texts are off unless you turn them on in Settings. If you do, we store your mobile number, the time you verified it, and a record of your consent: the exact words you agreed to, the time, and your IP address. We use the number only to send the texts you chose: a one-time verification code, a reminder on days that have a script to film, a 4 PM check-in on those days if nothing is filmed yet, and a weekly plan. Message frequency varies, up to two texts a day and one a week. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except Twilio, which sends the messages for us. This applies notwithstanding anything else in this policy. Twilio delivers the texts and processes the number, the message text, and delivery status for that purpose. We keep a copy of each text, any reply you send, and its delivery status for 90 days. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, HELP for help, or remove the number in Settings.

Why we use information

We use information to authenticate you, generate and save content, synchronize your library, connect your devices, answer support requests, troubleshoot failures, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing the service you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing it, consent where required, or compliance with legal obligations, as applicable.

Sharing and service providers

We use these providers to run the service: Google Firebase (sign-in and database), Vercel (hosting), Inngest (background jobs), Stripe (payments), RevenueCat (subscription management and purchase analytics), SendFox (email, including its Google reCAPTCHA spam protection), Twilio (texts you turn on), Zernio (posting to and reading from the social accounts you connect), Scrape Creators (public creator profiles, posts and transcripts), Supabase (our public video catalog), Bunny (image delivery), Cleanvoice (audio cleanup), and the shared Gen.C backend at gencapp.pro (accounts, voices, scripts and generation). To write scripts, chat, sort ideas and transcribe videos, we send the text or media needed for that task to AI providers: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, DeepSeek (through OpenRouter) and AssemblyAI. These providers act for us and may not use your information for their own marketing. A third-party service you choose to use receives the information necessary to carry out that request and applies its own privacy terms.

We may disclose information to comply with lawful requests, protect people and the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate protections. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

We keep information while it is needed to operate your account and provide requested features, and for legitimate security, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes. The period depends on the type of record and the reason it is retained. Deletion from backups may take additional time. We use safeguards designed to protect information, but cannot promise that any storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can edit your scripts, sign out, clear local site data, and change device permissions. To request account deletion, access, correction, or a copy of your personal information, email rodney@30daycal.com. Please identify the account concerned; we may verify your identity before acting.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. We handle requests under applicable law. Some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. Because accounts and libraries use shared Megaphone services, a request affecting shared records may also affect access or content in those services; we will clarify the scope when handling your request.

Children and international processing

The service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

Our providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States and, for some AI requests, China, where privacy laws may differ. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those safeguards apply.

Updates and contact

We will update this page and its date when this policy changes, and provide additional notice of material changes where required. Send questions to rodney@30daycal.com. Please also read our Terms of Service.
